Lexus GX Overview

The 2025 Lexus GX550 Overtrail is a mid-size off-road SUV. Whether your family does frequent trips up mountains, or simply you live in a snowy region, this car is for you. Its durable tires, powered by the All Wheel Drive, make it safe to travel on slippery surfaces and in places where you can easily expect a range of weather conditions, from heavy rain and snow to rocky terrain. The Lexus GX 550's price reflects its modern features and All Wheel Drive, along with the Lexus signature design.

The latest addition to the Lexus GX series, the Lexus GX550 Overtrail, is a mid-size SUV. Lexus has made a significant change to its new model. It now sits at 9.84 inches of ground clearance, which is higher than its predecessors. The high ground clearance not only makes the vehicle perfect for rugged terrain but also gives it a durable and sophisticated look. 

The GX 550’s rear door features a kick sensor, making loading and off-loading easier. The rear door glides through a footwave motion. Lexus has designed its new model in three basic colors: Terrain Khaki Mica Metallic, Graphite Black, and Moon Desert.

On the roof of the car, rest roof rails, giving additional space for luggage during road trips. Having a 28-degree approach angle and a 24-degree departure helps the car scale larger objects, such as boulders. 

The wheels are Toyo Open Country A/T III tires, which are made for highways and rough terrain, including deep snow. Many people desire Jeep-like cars that they can use for mountainous areas, but also can be used for city drives, hence should not be big. A midsize SUV like the Lexus 550 Overtrail is designed for such individuals. 


Now, let's discuss what the Lexus GX550 overtrail looks like from the inside. Starting from the seats, they have electric adjustments instead of the traditional lever method. The dashboard has many technological features. Some of which include the large 12.3-inch infotainment screen, which features Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Bluetooth, and voice control. 

Manufacturers have equipped the climate control system with three controls, allowing everyone to participate in selecting the desired temperature. Little things add to the overall convenience and these things include wireless charger, power outlets, and soft lights. 

The SUV requires luggage space since it is often used for trips, so you can fold down the rear seats to create extra storage space. Additionally, days when you feel like warming or cooling up the car before sitting, the car has a remote engine start. 

There are additional features strategically designed to enhance the passenger experience. These features include cup holders, air vents for backseat passengers, and multiple storage options at the back of the seats. There is a 400-watt power socket, allowing you to charge your appliances. There is a compressor built into the car to help with off-roading. 


The new Lexus GX550 over-trail comes with a 3.4-liter twin-turbocharged petrol engine. It produces 349 Horsepower with 650Nm of torque. When it comes to fuel economy, this model offers a comparatively lower economy (approximately 8-12 Km/L), because it runs on petrol. 


Lexus GX550 Overtrail has an All Wheel Drive automatic power system. AWD differs from Four Wheel Drive, as it offers significantly greater traction and stability in all driving conditions. It works by distributing power to all four wheels simultaneously or as needed. 

AWD is suited for SUVs to enable them able for snow-covered and rain-soaked roads. The AWD in this car features sophisticated sensors that detect changes in wheel speed and road traction, automatically shifting torque between the front and rear wheels. 

This system maintains grip under snowy, rugged, or rain-covered slippery surfaces. Thanks to the AWD system, this SUV is durable and can stand all kinds of dangerous, hilly surfaces. 


While designing, Safety is Lexus’s first priority. To begin with, the 2025 Lexus GX500 Overtrail comes with Lane Tracing Assist, which gently adjusts the steering to keep your car straight. Secondly, the road sign assist tells you when you miss a speed limit or stop sign.

Next, the pre-collision system, which is supported by pedestrian detection, works as follows: If the car detects an object or person in front of it, the system alerts you and automatically brakes. This system decreases the risk of roadside accidents. 

Lastly, the All-Speed Dynamic Radar Cruise Control ensures that you maintain a safe distance from the car ahead by automatically adjusting your speed.

Toyota PROBOX VAN

For me this Toyota Probox is like hardworking friend. Every day I use it for movement and business things, and it keeps doing the job without complaint. The best thing is space. I can put many items inside and still drive comfortably. Car is not luxury type, that is true. Seats are little basic and road noise can enter sometimes when driving fast. But honestly, for this price and purpose, I think it is acceptable. Reliability is more important for me than fancy features. SAT Japan experience was smooth because they keep updating me during process. I was checking shipment and documents without stress. They also answered questions quickly which helped me feel relaxed. Fuel economy is very nice and maintenance cost is low. This car may look simple outside, but performance and usefulness are very strong. Good option for daily work and long-term use.

The Alphard feels more like a luxury lounge than a normal car. The comfort level is outstanding and the ride quality is very smooth on both city roads and motorways. This Voxy hybrid is brilliant for family travel. The cabin space is huge and the seats are very comfortable. Even with many passengers inside, the drive still feels smooth and quiet.
