Imported used automobiles must go through a PUSPAKOM inspection to establish roadworthiness, compliance with safety requirements, and to confirm the vehicle's condition and identification.

Documents Required for Import of Vehicle in Malaysia

  • A letter of application to the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI) for importing a car from your native country into Malaysia for personal use.

  • A JK69 form must be bought from MITI and properly completed.

  • Car documentation that proves ownership. If the car was purchased used, this will most likely be a purchase receipt or a letter of transfer of ownership from the prior owner.

  • The original and photocopied registration document for the car.

  • The car's original insurance documentation and/or a letter from the insurer.

  • Your work permit and a letter of contract from your Malaysian employer.

  • A copy of your passport.

  • Malaysian or international driving license.

Toyota COROLLA AXIO

I wanted a simple reliable car for daily use and the Axio has been good for me. Engine is smooth and inside is comfortable. There was one small mark on the seat, but nothing serious. SAT Japan handled the documents properly.

Toyota PROBOX VAN

For business use, I could not ask for a better vehicle than this Toyota Probox. It is economical, easy to drive, and has enough cargo room for my daily deliveries. Toyota ESQUIRE

My family loves this Toyota Esquire because it is spacious, quiet, and very comfortable during long journeys. SAT Japan kept every promise they made and provided regular updates until the vehicle reached me safely. I noticed one small paint chip near the sliding door, but it does not change my opinion about the vehicle. Everything else works perfectly, and the luxurious feeling inside makes every trip enjoyable. I am happy I chose SAT Japan.
