There is no age restriction for Japanese used cars to be imported in Honduras.
You can only import left-hand drive vehicles in the country. Import of right-hand drive vehicles is prohibited.
No specific inspection is required on the import of used vehicles.
However, when importing vehicles to Honduras, an import authorization permit is mandatory. Moreover, you need to provide written approval from the Department of Environmental Affairs.
Different import taxes are applied on shipping a vehicle in Honduras.
On new vehicles, a 10% luxury tax is subjected
On used imported vehicles, a 3.4% CIF-based tax is applicable.
Trucks' rates differ from 6.8 to 10.2% depending upon the truck’s size and displacement.

I like this Nissan Note because it looks practical without being too large. The body has a few signs that it is a used vehicle, which I expected, but overall the car presents well in the photo. For the price and purpose, I feel this was a good decision.
A simple car, but this is exactly what I wanted. The Probox looks spacious and useful, especially for carrying things. The exterior is not a luxury finish and has some ordinary used-car appearance. SAT Japan handled shipping, inspection, and paperwork very well. Happy with my choice.

The Thor is a nice choice for everyday driving because of its compact size and practical shape. I like the dark colour and clean rear design. There are many marks on the body and the interior is in a very rough condition. Seats are also damaged.
I am very pleased with my Mitsubishi. From the picture, it looks strong and well maintained, with a good road presence. The only small thing I noticed is some dirt around the lower body, but this is nothing serious. It’s best decision to choose SAT Japan, they were helpful across the buying process and even after.
Bought it for everyday running and so far no complaints. Fuel is reasonable, enough space in back and car feels solid. SAT Japan made the buying part easy for me. I would buy from them again.
Really liking this Note. Very quiet car and easy to drive around town. Shipping was few days late but SAT Japan kept me informed, so no big problem. Car itself came in good shape.
