So last month, I bought a 2018 Toyota Roomy from them by only trusting its reviews. It was definitely a leap of faith, but honestly zero regrets. Here’s how it went down: I started from browsing their website by navigating “Used cars for sale” and it took me a long time to narrow my choices down. They have categorized their inventory in terms of prices, make, and type. Once I found something within my budget, I reached out to their team through their live chat on their website. To my surprise, they were pretty responsive and helpful. The sales lady patiently responded to all my queries because to be honest, I was being extremely cautious. Once I ordered the car, the payment process was pretty straightforward. The company handled all the export documents. I did not have to do much work. It seemed like the pre-export inspection was also very thorough. They have car insurance services so I added marine insurance to my order just to be safe. They said that the shipping would take 8-10 weeks but for me it took around 5 weeks. When the car arrived, I was impressed due to its low mileage and a very clean exterior and interior. They give you inspection papers and everything else that you need for documentation. Having said that, SAT Japan made the experience stress-free for me. If you’re on the lookout for a good used Japanese car, I’d say SAT Japan is definitely worth looking into. But just do you research before anything else and don’t be afraid to reach out to their sales team because they are super responsive.
I was kind of worried at first because I couldn't find any reviews online regarding this company that I deemed legit and credible. I saw reviews on the app and still wasn't convinced because I am purchasing from Hawaii, in the United States, and I couldn't find many reviews from the USA. Well, I paid for the car, and then about 1 month later it was shipped. Shipping took only about 8 or 9 days because I'm in Hawaii, not the mainland United States. I just received the car and it was in amazing condition just like they had told me. I'm very happy about that. The only reason I did not rate them 5 stars is because of the fact that some days I would contact them, and I wouldn't hear back from them in a day or more. The lack of communication, time difference, and lack of popular reviews made me feel like I may have gotten scammed. But the car did arrive and it was priced great too. Aside from the spotty communication, I would order a car from them again because I know they are a real reputable car sourcing company. Thank you SAT Japan! ✌?
