All the vehicles imported from Japan must be Right-Hand Drive (RHD)
In Antigua and Barbuda, no inspection is required for imported cars.
The Tariff Code and CPC applicable determine the customs duties and taxes paid.
VAT – 15% of the total value of the vehicle.
Customs Duty – 60% according to the CIF value of a car.
Environmental Levy imposed- $6000.
Export license from the Ministry of Trade.
