In Tonga, no inspection is required for imported cars.
Age less than 10 years
Vehicles up to 1500cc are charged 50 cents per cc
Vehicles between 1500-3000cc are charged 75 cents per cc
Vehicles exceeding 3000cc are charged $1 per cc
Age greater than 10 years
Vehicles up to 1500cc are charged 25 cents per cc
Vehicles between 1500-3000cc are charged 38 cents per cc
