The Aqua has been Toyota's answer to "I just want something cheap to run" since 2011. It's sold exclusively in Japan under that name; everywhere else, it wears the Prius c badge. The current second-generation car rides on Toyota’s GA-B platform, which also underpins the Yaris, and it picked up a mid-cycle facelift in September 2025. Here's the thing about the U grade specifically: it started life as a KINTO-only subscription trim in Japan. Toyota built it for people who wanted the newest Aqua without owning it outright. Now it's showing up on export listings, including through SAT Japan, as a standard right-hand-drive purchase with a 1,500cc engine, five seats, and the updated front end that came with the 2025 refresh.
Car came better than I expected. There was a small mark on the plastic, but nothing serious at all. SAT Japan kept me updated during the import process, which made things easier. Overall, I’m happy with the car and my purchase.
Car came in fair condition, AC works, engine feels okay and there is good space in the back. My dealings with SAT Japan were straightforward. Happy with my purchase from sat japan.
Very happy to finally receive my Coaster. There is some normal wear inside and one seat could be cleaner, but these things are small. Mechanically, it has been good till now. I appreciate the support Sat provided during the whole import process.
Bought this Rosa mainly for business use. The bus arrived in good shape and the engine sounds strong. Interior is also decent considering the age. I liked that SAT Japan kept the process clear from payment until shipment.

I will be honest, my experience was not as good as I hoped. SAT Japan was able to get the car to me, but I felt the process had some problems. I wanted better communication and a smoother experience.
