As per the government's announcement, the import of used vehicles older than 5 years is prohibited starting 1st August 2023.

Left-Hand Drive

Import of only left-hand drive vehicles is allowed in the country.

Inspection

The automobile is inspected by customs and SGS at the port. Tax is applied to all imported automobiles. The amount of tax is not fixed and usually depends upon the value of the model, its engine volume, its accessories, and other factors.

Import Duties and Taxes on Used Cars in Cameroon

For vehicles with engine size less than 2000cc - 58% CIF

For vehicles with engine size less than 2000cc - 77% CIF

Custom duty is calculated based on the value of the car. It can vary from 75% to 95%, depending upon various parameters.

Advance Payments in Cameroon

From the reservation date, our customers have up to three working days to make the full payment. In case the payment is not received, the reservation will be canceled. In case of partial deposit (70%), customers must pay the remaining amount within five working days after the ship has left the departure port. In case of failure to make the payment on time, the vehicle could be resold and your deposit confiscated to cover the damage caused. Toyota COROLLA AXIO

Very nice car. Clean front, good paint, and it looks well maintained. I like it because spare parts are easy and fuel use is also good. This car is perfect for daily work and family movement. Nissan AD VAN

This Nissan van is practical car. Not luxury practical car. Not luxury, but very useful. Space is good, driving is simple, and it can be used for business or daily transport. The car came in fair condition and I am happy with it. SAT Japan made the import process easy for me. They explained the total cost and helped with the export side. I was worried about buying from far country, but everything went fine. The car reached safely and now I can use it without problem. Good experience overall.

Subaru FORESTER

My Subaru is strong car. It looks big, solid, and very comfortable for family use. Engine response is good and driving feel is smooth. I wanted something not too small, and this one was right choice. This Nissan March came in very nice condition. I like the shape because it is simple, compact, and easy to park. The silver color is also good because dust does not show too much. Interior and outside both were okay, no bad issue for me. I choose SAT Japan because they had many options and price was better than local market. They sent updates during the process, and that gave me confidence. The car arrived safely and now it is running fine. Good service, no drama.

I am happy with this Suzuki car. The body is clean and the white color still look fresh. Small car but very useful for city driving and fuel saving also good. When I receive it, condition was near to what I saw before buying, so no big surprise. SAT Japan helped me with the buying process and gave clear details before shipment.
