Documents Required for Import of Vehicle in Malaysia

A letter of application to the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI) for importing a car from your native country into Malaysia for personal use.
A JK69 form must be bought from MITI and properly completed.
Car documentation that proves ownership. If the car was purchased used, this will most likely be a purchase receipt or a letter of transfer of ownership from the prior owner.
The original and photocopied registration document for the car.
The car's original insurance documentation and/or a letter from the insurer.
Your work permit and a letter of contract from your Malaysian employer.
A copy of your passport.

Not my first imported car, but definitely one of my favorite. This car arrived in very good condition and drives smoothly. The cabin space is excellent for family use and passengers have enough room. One thing I liked from SAT Japan was vehicle information. They provide many details, auction information and support during shipping process. It helped me make decision without stress. Driving experience is comfortable and stable. Engine response is good and vehicle feels solid on the road. The design also looks modern compared to some other family cars in same budget range. I can honestly say both the car and exporter met my expectations. Everything was handled professionally and the vehicle has been performing great since arrival. Definitely a purchase I do not regret.

Suzuki ALTO

First thing I notice about this Suzuki Alto is how easy it is to drive. Small size make parking very simple and fuel consumption is amazing. It is perfect for city movement. The buying journey was smooth. SAT Japan staff guide me from vehicle selection until shipping. Every document was arranged properly. I did not have previous import experience, so that support helped a lot. I also appreciate condition of the vehicle. Interior was neat and engine running nice. For a small car, it feels surprisingly comfortable. If somebody need affordable transport without spending too much on fuel, Alto is a smart choice. I am enjoying the car every day and happy I selected SAT Japan for this purchase.

After receiving my Probox, I can say this was one of my better purchases. Car start immediately every morning and maintenance cost is very low. For someone who depend on vehicle for work, that is important. I searched many exporters before choosing SAT Japan. What made difference was their inventory and clear communication. No hidden surprises. The car I got looked very close to inspection photos. Probox is not luxury car but it is practical. Large loading area, easy driving and very economical. My experience with this Toyota Probox is positive. Vehicle come clean and engine performance is good. I use it for transport work and it give me no major problem since purchase. About SAT Japan, I like how they explain everything before payment. They answer questions quickly and provide many pictures before shipping. This gave me confidence because I was buying from another country. The car has strong engine, good cargo area and comfortable driving position. Parts are easy to find in local market also. Maybe fuel usage is little higher than small vehicles, but for work purpose it is worth it. Overall, happy customer here. Vehicle is doing exactly what I needed and SAT Japan made the import process straightforward.

I buy this Toyota Probox from SAT Japan some months before and till now car working very good. Engine is smooth and fuel consumption is low, which help me save money every week. For business work and daily driving, this car is really useful. What I like most is SAT Japan always keep updating me about shipment and documents. I was little worried first time importing from Japan, but process was easier than I expect. Car arrive in good condition and same like photos. The space inside is enough for carrying goods and family also. Suspension is strong on rough roads. For anyone looking simple, reliable and affordable vehicle, I think Probox is very nice choice. I look at the things that cost money, later fuel use, maintenance, spare parts, and reliability. That is why this Toyota was the right choice for me. That advice helped me a lot. The car arrived in good condition and has been working smoothly since day one. The steering feels light, and it is very easy to drive in busy city traffic. The only small issue is that the exterior design is quite simple and not very eye-catching. But honestly, I bought this vehicle to work and save money, not to impress people.
