SQA Automation Engineer

Position Overview:

We are looking for a skilled Software Quality Assurance Automation Engineer to design, develop, and execute automated tests to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of software testing methodologies, proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks, and a passion for delivering high-quality software solutions.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain automated test scripts to validate software functionality, performance, and scalability.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify test requirements, create test plans, and execute test cases.

- Conduct functional, regression, and performance testing to ensure software meets quality standards.

- Identify and document software defects, track issues to resolution, and verify fixes.

-Continuously improve test automation framework and processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

- Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging technologies, and trends in software testing and automation.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

- Minimum 2-year experience in automation testing.

- Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python, C#) and scripting languages.

- Experience with test automation tools, with compulsory knowledge of Selenium.

- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, QA processes, and best practices.

- Solid knowledge of SDLC, Agile, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) concepts.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner.

- Knowledge of API testing and tools like Postman or SoapUI.

- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira).
